What We Do

ABA Senegal provides intensive, long-term therapy programs for children with autism and other developmental disabilities in Dakar, Senegal.

"ABA" stands for Applied Behavior Analysis, which is a method used in many socio-behavioral therapies. Therapies that use ABA have been found to be one of the most effective treatments for children with autism spectrum disorder. All services are supervised by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). ABA treatment can improve language and communication skills, pro-social skills (like waiting and sharing), learned skills (like academics and cognitive tasks), self-care skills (like eating and toileting), generalization of these skills across people and environments, and reduction of interfering behaviors (such as aggression). Our Mission

Our goal is to aid in the creation of effective and stimulating learning environments for all students. We create spaces in which all children with autism are recognized, respected, and challenged to reach their highest potential.

Our hope for each child is that they are given the opportunity to realize their potential as a contributing member of their community and family.

As we grow, we will contribute to the dissemination of evidence-based teaching methods and offer educational training and career development opportunities through our center. We will always advocate for the respect of the talents, interests, and differences found within our students.
