Our first school inclusion student

December 4, 2018

We are so proud of our first student, who just started his second week of mainstream school today! The Senegalese-American Bilingual School (SABS) has been supportive of our integration proposals and has welcomed him with open arms. He is quickly making friends. We are incredibly grateful for the open, accepting learning environment and the flexibility of his teachers and staff.

Below: Our student works with his 1-1 ABA shadow, Reine, who is responsible for carrying out his behavior plan and modified curriculum throughout the day.

Below: Peer buddies throughout lunch and break times help our student learn the ropes and practice his social skills.
